In California, two bills in the state legislature oppose President Donald Trump’s positions on illegal immigration.
One bill would increase protection of undocumented immigrants from law enforcement, effectively making California a so-called sanctuary state.
Another bill would create government-provided health care coverage available for every resident, including undocumented immigrants.
