How will the border wall affect the environment?

Cronkite News is developing a story about President Donald Trump’s border wall plan and its effect on the environment, especially for border states.

A 2016 report by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service stated that the wall could potentially affect 111 endangered species and 108 species of migratory birds.
