Katrina Villarreal expects to graduate in August 2024 with a master’s degree in sports journalism. Villarreal completed her bachelor’s degree in multimedia journalism with a minor in theater at the University of Texas at El Paso. While at UTEP, Villarreal worked at the student-run publication, The Prospector, as the multimedia editor and sports reporter.
