Ireland Horvat expects to graduate in May 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in sports journalism. Horvat, who is assigned to Cronkite Sports this semester, has interned for the California Collegiate League where she wrote about the Orange County Riptide baseball team.

PHOENIX – Francisco German and Shawn Benavente started the Arizona Deaf Pickleball League in 2021. Since then, the league has 400 members and is educating others about American Sign Language.
