WASHINGTON – Arizona Democratic delegates have embraced Vice President Kamala Harris as the party’s new presidential nominee since President Joe Biden’s exit from the race. Gov. Katie Hobbs threw her support to Harris on Monday. Every Arizona Democrat in Congress backs Harris, as do most state party leaders.

Stanton joins House Democrat calls for Biden to drop reelection bid as GOP ties Arizona Dems to president’s sinking ship

WASHINGTON – Rep. Greg Stanton of Phoenix joined a growing list of House Democrats calling for President Joe Biden to drop his reelection bid. Republicans are slamming Arizona Democrats who haven’t issued such calls. Biden has slipped in Arizona polls since a disastrous debate performance, and the GOP is determined to capitalize.

Democrats plaster Arizona Republic website with ads calling Trump a threat to democracy, with other blitzes in Georgia, Pennsylvania

WASHINGTON – The Democratic National Committee is filling the Arizona Republic homepage, azcentral.com, with ads attacking former President Donald Trump as an existential threat to democracy. The DNC launched a similar blitz in two other battlegrounds, Georgia and Pennsylvania.
