PHOENIX – The use of online platforms to facilitate sexual exploitation and human trafficking is not new, but the move towards using gaming to lure victims began to gain popularity after a federal crackdown on Backpage.com.

In quiet Paris suburb, Team USA elite athletes work out together at high performance training center

Team USA has its own athletic facility for close to 450 athletes to train under the same roof with state-of-the-art equipment that offers more of a team environment. The local is north of Paris in a quiet suburb.

Arizona and Canada strengthen ties through new Phoenix trade office

PHOENIX – In May, Gov. Katie Hobbs welcomed Mary Ng, Canada's minister of export promotion, international trade and economic development, to Phoenix to announce the opening of a new Canadian trade office. The office will be in Phoenix because of the growing business between Canada and Arizona.

Tucson, aiming to trim electric bills and hit carbon neutral by 2045 to fight climate change, will explore creating a public utility

WASHINGTON – A feasibility study in Tucson will explore the creation of a public power utility as the city seeks to cut electric bills and be carbon neutral by 2045. The current contract with Tucson Electric Power expires in 2026, and the city wants to ensure utility practices align with its environmental goals.
