The Phoenix Suns and the Phoenix Mercury unveiled a mural at Footprint Center that features prominent black Arizona athletes. The mural is one of 28 murals in downtown Phoenix that are being painted in honor of Black History Month.

Sports Reporter, PhoenixJustin Torres expects to graduate in May 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in sports journalism. Torres, who interned as a play-by-play broadcaster with the California Prospect League developmental baseball program, is working for the Phoenix sports bureau.
