Welcome to Cronkite News’ first Audio Hackathon!

Get ready to cue your inner creator! Starting March 8, you’ll have a chance to learn how fun and easy it is to build your own audible commands and designs that make up a skill on Amazon’s Alexa. Then submit your skill as part of the Audio Hackathon to compete for some awesome prizes including a chance to win an Echo Show!

The Audio Hackathon is open to all Arizona State University students, and is being hosted by Cronkite News, which is a part of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.

Here’s how to participate

ASU’s University Technology Office will lead the training and help you learn how easy and fun it is to develop a skill. Once you register, we will send you a Zoom link to attend the training. Can’t make it? Don’t worry. We’ll post one of the trainings on this site.
