Jacob Lev sits down with Garrett Otto, Richard Geraffo and Alec Henden and discusses their roles in producing content for the Cronkite News sports bureau. They each have different responsibilities.
Otto is a podcaster, Garaffo a producer and Henden a digital reporter. They each do different things but have roles vital to creating content. There wasn’t enough time to interview everyone but these three represent a good cross-section of the sports bureau.
Lev hits the road and follows Henden to a story in Chandler, where he interviews members of a cricket league. It will provide listeners insight into the responsibilities of a digital journalist.
The three also discuss what’s ahead in their sports journalism journeys. It was the ideal time to talk about a Sports Bureau that’s in its final week of the semester.
