PHOENIX – We’re gearing up for a rainy week here in Phoenix, coming on the heels of a sunny start to March. We can expect rain for the next few days, as well as a drop in temperatures.
Although Monday started off sunny and warm, a storm is moving in from Southern California. Chances for rain are 60 percent Monday night and 70 percent Tuesday before tapering off to 20 percent Wednesday.
Metro Phoenix can expect to stay in the cool 60s for the rest of the week, which is 10 degrees below the average we’ve seen so far this month. But the warmup begins as we head toward the weekend, and by Monday temperatures should be in the low to mid-80s.
