In the third episode of In Focus Season 2, we interview Arizona-based Americana musician Blaine Long, who released his latest album after appearing on NBC’s The Voice.

Our opening song is “Take You Home Tonight” by Vibe Tracks and our closing song is “Scarlet Fire” by Otis McDonald.

Last year Blaine was coached by Blake Shelton on Season 11 of The Voice. Spending two months on the show gave him some strong opinions about the music industry. We caught up with him as he celebrated his new album with a release party at Cactus Jacks in Phoenix. Blaine’s new album is titled Scorpio and has 10 original songs about his family and his experience on The Voice.

In this episode we discuss Blaine’s time on television, what life has been like after The Voice, and about his newest album. You can connect with Blaine Long on social media and his website, blainelong.com.
