Are you a medical professional or academic who has experienced sexual harassment? We want to hear your story.
The Journal of the American Medical Association recently published a study that surveyed recipients of two National Institutes of Health research grants. It found that 30 percent of female respondents and 4 percent of male respondents disclosed experiencing sexual harassment during their careers. The survey received about 1,000 responses, many of which reflected on gender bias in the workplace and how sexual harassment affected careers.
Cronkite News is working on a story exploring the results of the study. Have you witnessed or experienced sexual harassment in an academic or clinical setting?
