From the curtain to the pool, Phelps influence felt across ASU

Just a week after Michael Phelps’ Curtain of Distraction performance went viral, the most decorated Olympian in history swam the 200-meter freestyle and 100 IM in the middle of Arizona State’s dual meet with rival Arizona on Saturday.

Phelps, who is at ASU training for the Rio Summer Olympics and will serve as a volunteer assistant for the program after the Olympics are over, is already having a significant impact on the program.
