LAS VEGAS – The Phoenix Mercury jumped out to a fast start in Game 1 of WNBA Finals from a surprising offensive surge in the first half. Not all the surprises were good, however, as a lack of key defense and Las Vegas’ large contributions from the bench gave the Aces just enough of an edge to take the opener.
