SCOTTSDALE – Despite losing the 2026 WM Phoenix Open in heartbreaking fashion, Hideki Matsuyama was joined in the top five of the leaderboard by fellow Asian golfer Si Woo Kim, along with Japanese-born Ryo Hitatsune in the top 10. The trio of golfers represented their East Asian heritage after finishing toward the top of one of the best-known tournaments in golf.
