SCOTTSDALE – Chris Gotterup leads the field after shooting 8-under-par on Thursday’s opening round of the 2026 WM Phoenix Open. After winning the first PGA tournament of 2026, the Sony Open in Hawaii, Gotterup is continuing to climb the world ranking list while starting the Phoenix Open in the same group as Scottie Scheffler, the No. 1-ranked golfer in the world
