PHOENIX – This weekend should be great for hanging by the pool. Temperatures in the 90s are expected all weekend long in metro Phoenix, and air quality should be improved over the past few days.
By Saturday afternoon, the Phoenix area will be in the 90s, reaching a high of 96 degrees. Clear skies are expected all day, with some clouds returning to the Valley on Sunday.
Saturday morning temperatures should be in the 40s and 50s up north, and in the 50s and 60s down south. Highs in northern Arizona will be in the 70s and 80s; high 80s and 90s are expected in southern Arizona and along the Colorado River.
Looking ahead, the work week should begin with highs in the 80s, but 90s will return Thursday and Friday.
