State number 48 is gearing up for the 2016 Presidential Preference Election, which is less than 24 hours away. Polls are set to open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22. Until that time, take a look back at Arizona’s historical election data and voter registration numbers throughout the years. According to the Arizona Secretary of State, there were more than 3.25 million registered voters in Arizona as of Jan. 2016, about 60 percent of that number coming from registered voters in Maricopa County.
